one year

It's hard to believe that you've been gone a year...


I know that you are watching us from heaven, and most days I find comfort in knowing that you are in such a beautiful place.


But today it's been one year and its hard not be sad.


I wasn't really ready to say goodbye, though I don't think I ever really would have been. I know that you were ready, and now you are happy reunited with Dad and Grandpa Fred.


So... I have lots of busy things planned for today, but I wanted to say that I miss you.


Thank you for being more like a mother than grandmother. I know I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for you. And thank you for loving my children.


I know they miss you dearly.
